Following on from the successful Climate Conversations in March 2022, we are now launching a ‘Summer of Sustainability Workshops’ to help us look deeper and understand in more detail the challenges and opportunities that we face as we look to ‘power-down’ on carbon emissions, and ‘power-up’ on innovation, cooperation and collective action to help us all better transition to more sustainable, and hopefully, more rewarding ways of living and working.
In light of the energy challenges and cost of living crisis, we ‘kick off’ this series of 11 FREE workshops with 4 sessions focused on saving energy, understanding how we use it efficiently and thinking about renewable energy generation. These will show us how to save energy, save money and cut our carbon emissions at the same time.
We are launching with these sessions to support people facing horrendous rises in gas and electricity bills, to help come up with some practical solutions and to explore how by better insulating our homes, and perhaps installing renewable energy generation and heating systems we can both cut our bills and move to greater sustainability in the long term.
